Who runs it
Neighbors do. This is a volunteer project, built and kept up by people who live on the road. Nobody is paid, and it isn't run by NRRD, the County or any other agency.

What it's for
Two things. First, flood readiness: tides, dates, who to call and what to do. Second, neighbors helping neighbors: news, shared tools and a hand when someone needs one.
We link to the official source for everything we post. When an agency's page and ours disagree, trust the agency and tell us so we can fix it.
How to contribute
- Send news, photos or a correction. A neighbor checks each one before it goes up.
- Share an old photo or story of the road for the Our Island history.
- Lend a hand during king tides, like filling sandbags or checking on a neighbor.
